release!!!

July 28th, 2010

release him …he is a human like you.

Sad history of China continues to destroy people’s lives

July 27th, 2010

I feel terribly saddened when I remember the fate of so many good people such as Tenzin Delek Rinpoche. Karma Samdrup, Dhondrup Wangchen and so many others that are being persecuted by the People’s Republic of China. The PRC carries on with the cruel and distorted policies of Mao who has never been revealed as the mass murderer that he was. Without facing up to the past it continues it’s destructive path.

Blessings

June 18th, 2010

Sometimes it takes a gentle soul to take on the role of doing strong things out there in the world.

Speaking the truth, from the heart, is a right we all have, and yet, some are imprisoned for it. There is no justice in this and the world cannot sit back and allow it to continue.

I believe these gentle souls are helping the consciousness of the planet to rise because they are highlighting these shocking injustices.

There are many people in the world that do care and send their blessings out and pray for the release of those who are held and face sentences that are completely unjustified. x

free Tenzin Delek Rinpoche

June 16th, 2010

I believe Tenzin Delek Rinpoche is innocent of the crimes he is convicted of, and that the Chinese are unjust in holding him.

Awakening

June 15th, 2010

Please let today be the day of your enlightenment. Allow the truth into your hearts and step away from the path of the reprobate. Deliver Tenzin Delek Rinpoche from his unjust and heinous imprisonment. Free him simply because you know it is the only right and honorable thing to do. Do it for your children, and your children’s children. Save them from a legacy of shame. The shame that you place upon them by keeping an innocent man trapped in a cage. This shame on your name, history will not soon forget. My prayers are for you and your family and, of course, for Tenzin Delek Rinpoche. Sincerely, Helen K. M.Tierney

I Thank you for liberating the Tibetan people and respecting their rights, respecting and honoring the difference in culture, and religion, which is the beauty of life, in how every difference makes us unique, in which we represent a different pattern of flowers, but beneath we all grow from the same soil, the same ground.

I thank you for releasing all Tibetan Heroes and realizing peace is always the best option.

I thank you for Reestablishing Tibetan People and their leaders safely back to their home lands.

I thank you for reestablishing Tibet to their previous and original way of life.

China……WAKE UP

February 2nd, 2010

China acts like it is a dictatorship.
We in the west have know of it’s political double standards..it’s persecution of those who voice opinions different from those of the Govt….Your treatment of the Tibetan people stinks. Ditto your treatment of animals. If you wish the world at large to respect you….then you need to earn that respect by letting Tibet be free. Stop being a big bully boy.

Pray for Peace and Protest Peacefully for justice

January 28th, 2010

I will protest the Chinese governments actions that violate the human rights of Chinese and Tibetan citizens until I die. I applaud those who built and maintain websites such as these.
Autonomy for Tibet, yes. Yet, fighting for the freedom of prisoners who are jailed and tortured because of their attempts to practice their religion and express their views is a priority. Nonviolent protest is the only way to effect lasting effective change and this form of protest should be an obligation from all of us in countries such as the US where we do not face torture and imprisonment ourselves.

Free Tibet….

Free from unjust imprisonment

It is aggrevating to hear about this – and other gruel treatment of Tibetian people, it is outraging that these people are continuously not allowed to live according to their culture and in freedom of humanrights, that are here for everyone, not just certain people, and not for others!!! I feel pain in my heart when I hear of such things as this incarceration!

Dhondup Wangchen

January 11th, 2010

I understand Dhondup Wangchen has been sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for filming interviews with Tibetan citizens about their views on the Olympic games in Beijin.

While I realise it is not comfortable for China to have negative opinions broadcast about it, imprisoning those who are not happy with China’s policies is not going to remove opposition.

I urge you to free Dhondup Wangchen and others like him, and in doing so change the image of China with your own people and other nations.

Imprisonment and execution of ‘dissidents’ simply creates martyrs and heightens opposition.

China is too great a nation to continue to court such negative views.

Yours sincerely,

Please free all tibetan political prisoners

January 8th, 2010

Tibetan political prisoners are merely working to benefit their fellow beings. They are entitled to their opinion and they deserve to have a voice.
If China was really aiming to benefit the Tibetan people then they would be happy to listen openly to the voice of ordinary Tibetans and to engage in open dialogue. I appeal to the Chinese government to allow Tibetans to have a voice, free of fear.

Please stop!

January 8th, 2010

Please free Tibetan film-maker Dhondup Wangchen and all the other brave people who speak up for human rights in Tibet.

These people are the heroes of the present and the future, and all lives will be held accountable once this horror era of medieval tortures and colonial invasion is over. War crimes trials will be held.

The whole world is waiting for China to come into the modern era, not just monetarily but as human beings.

Executions, tortures, unfair trials, political prisoners, lethal injections for those with mental illness… why? This is 2010, not 14th century!

Chinese people know there is something very wrong in China.

It is time for change.

Freedom

January 7th, 2010

I come from a country where the national motto is “liberty, equality, fraternity” and I cannot be happy until this is true for all human beings. Unless we show each other respect,no matter how big our differences,we behave like animals. As for me, being French and brought in a christian country, I’ve found the values I was looking for in buddhism and I do value the Tibetan culture.

Supporting International Concern for Tibet and Tibetans

November 17th, 2009

Dear President Obama,

When the Chinese tell you that Tibet is an internal territory and only of concern to China and the Chinese, you can respond that anytime a government is so repressive that its people flood to other surrounding countries where they can enjoy ordinary human freedoms and rights, it is a shame and disgrace to the repressive nation and a matter of serious concern to the receiving nations. Housing such extrememly large refugee populations has had a great impact on all the countries of the world. Although we welcome and delight in the wonderful people we have received and the rich culture they bring with them, we wish they could be free in their own land and that China would return Tibet to Tibetan rule, withdraw, and invite Tibet to join China as part of the United States of China, of their own free will. It worked for us, it is definately a viable peaceful option for them. Let
Tibetans determine their own destiny.
China should cease repression and return
to its original boundaries.

Speak up and say this! Say their policies negatively affect all the surrounding countries who have little enough to share and the other receiving
nations of the world, therefore we all
have a right to be concerned about Tibet
and Tibetans, as well as the other western border areas. Let China modify their policies, or withdraw completely. No one has said this and someone should.
Let it be you, please. Speak Truth to power.

HELP

November 17th, 2009

I realy want to help the Tibetan culture and their poeple I hate what is going on and I feel it is my duty to help with what I can

who is human?

November 17th, 2009

If Dhondup Wangchen should, against his wish, without his ever intending it, become a new martyr for a people who have been systematically silenced, his voice will surely resound one thousand times as loud. But no one wants this. What every sane, truth-loving person wants is that we have the freedom to speak what is in our hearts and minds, now in the 21st century. Without that freedom, we are allowing ourselves to build a world fit for machines, not human beings, to live in.

Dhondup Wangchen should be free!

November 17th, 2009

There is nothing wrong about speaking out about the truth. The world deserves to know about the terrible conditions that Tibetans are living through. There is so much unspeakable torture in Tibet. “Leaving Fear Behind” is a great documentary that should be screened all over the world! Dhondup Wangchen did nothing wrong! He should be freed and allowed to return home!

Stay Strong Dhondup Wangchen!

November 17th, 2009

Mr. Dhondup Wangchen,
Your courageous efforts on behalf of your people have not gone unnoticed by the world. You have the support of many like me here in the United States and elsewhere. You and your countrymen are in our thoughts, and we pray for your safety and freedom. One day you shall have it. Your fight is a just and admirable cause, and we hope that one day soon, the Chinese government will be forced to recognize the rights of the Tibetan people to autonomy and freedom from their barbaric oppression. Tibetan culture has had a great impact on my life, and the lives of many other people who find solace and inspiration in the words of the Dalai Lama and the principles of Buddhism. Please stay strong and do not allow your Chinese oppressors to break your noble spirit. No matter what they do to you, that is one thing they can never take away. You are in my thoughts, and I hope with all my heart for your speedy release.

HOPE

November 17th, 2009

My heart is with the Tibetan people. Compassion and concern for you. It is time for leaders around the world, including the United States, to pressure the Chinese into freeing unjustly imprisoned Tibetans and at the very least to honor agreements for Tibet’s autonomy. Human rights must be the highest priority NOW or we will see another six decades of ignorance, maltreatment and oppression. China must be held accountable. Preserving Tibetan culture in any way possible is critical. Remember who you are- what a wonderful culture you are and pray and hope. I believe that nothing is impossible and truth will prevail over injustice!!

Please release prisoners of conscience

November 17th, 2009

Dear Sir,

If China wishes to be respected by the global community, it needs to treat the people of Tibet with greater respect. Please learn from the leagacy of peace from their unique culture and stop trying to erase the Tibetan culture within their own land. Prisoners of conscience, who demonstrated great courage to speak out about the loss of culture, do not have access to legal representation and are imprisoned , tortured and sometimes killed. China’s long history has many wise and compassionate lessons to learn. Please demonstrate that wisdom and compassion and allow Tibetan people and their culture to flourish, within China’s borders as his Holiness the Dalai Lama advocates with his middle way plan. A culturally and ethnically diverse China will be stronger and generate tourism dollars from cultural travellers. There is a better way. The way of peace, compassion and hope. Please do not let hope be quashed. Please release the Tibetan citizens, including film makers, monks, nuns and ordinary citizens who have lost their freedom, for wanting to be able to express their culture. As China is now a world leading economy, please let China become a world leading conscience where the new currency is hope and inspiration, not fear, oppression and despair.

Don’t Ever Give Up

November 17th, 2009

Dear Dhondup Wangchen,

Don’t ever give up hope for a free Tibet or for freedom in your own sitution now and we here and throughout the world will also do all we can to help you and all Tibetans. We think about your courage and pray for you and your long life.

We are with you

November 17th, 2009

Dhondup Wangchen la and all Tibetans who persist in the fight and refuse to give up on the vision of a Tibet that is controlled by Tibetans – have hope and courage. The thoughts and actions of millions of people around the world are with you. Change comes slowly, but it is inevitable.

Dhondup Wangchen should be free.

November 17th, 2009

I am very concerned with detention of Dhondup Wangchen. Where do chinese think their empire is going, given their human rights record and current economy?? Blinded by nationalism and state propaganda they’re gonna sink their own ‘boat’. I feel sorry for their ignorance and their future.

My Prayers Are With You

The power of the truth

November 17th, 2009

Nothing is more powerful than the truth. Even love requires truth to realize the fullness of its power. Those who have sacrificed their safety, their personal comfort, and ofttimes their lives know that there is a truth deep within their hearts which made their sacrifice necessary. I salute and am humbled by these heroes of truth wherever and whenever they manifest. No matter what the cause it is always the same truth.

Who do they think they’re fooling?

If China weren’t living such a lie, they would have nothing to fear from the truth.

November 17th, 2009

China’s occupation of Tibet was a crime. It needs to be constantly supported by a falsified history and by new crimes–acts of repression against anyone who dares to speak the truth.

Let us not abet the crime. Let us listen well to the courageous men and women who speak out. Let us press our own governments to refuse assent to Beijing’s falsifications.

Freedom for all

November 17th, 2009

May all individuals, all persons, all Asians, Americans, Africans, Middle Easterners, everybody … may we all be free and able to practice the beliefs of our choice. May Tibet be free, it’s people safe and may His Holiness the Dalai Lama be able to return to his homeland in this lifetime.

The Middle Path of Peace

November 17th, 2009

The Dalai Laama and his people wish to be left in pece in their own country. They are not agitating for independence — only the Middle path.

Free Dhondup Wangchen

November 17th, 2009

Free Dhondup Wangchen – we should all be allowed freedom of expression. His film also shows with great courage and honesty what it is like to be banished from your own country and have your culture stripped from you.

I support you fully Dhondup Wangchen and so do my family, friends and colleagues. We all demand that you are released.

History does not teach fatalism. There are moments when the will of a handful of free men breaks through determinism and opens up new roads. ~Charles de Gaulle

November 17th, 2009

I support the struggle from Tibetans for a free country.

November 17th, 2009

Speaking truth to power is rarely well received. But when given the opportunity, it is our duty to each other to step up to the challenge. Dhondup Wangchen’s heroic actions deserve our support. I hope that people the world over can see the importance of his message and the freedom he and the people of Tibet deserve.

China will look wonderful when…

November 17th, 2009

China will look wonderful when it realizes that the greatest, smartest, most beautiful decision will be to reverse the old, archaic, negative position of saying that Tibet is already free. How wonderful China will look in the eyes of the world if it says openly that The Dalai Lama is free to return to his own country. Thye people of Tibet will rejoice and be happy openly in the streets and the Chinese will be loved by the world for having been brave and unafraid to make such an excellent decision!
Please free the Tibetan people.
Dear China…THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING.

Chinese leaders can only control people by force and fear alone. Nobody respects a tyrant. Nobody, not even himself. Tyrant’s ALWAYS end up last…
Let them go

Bravo Tibetan heroes

November 17th, 2009

Today we are living in time of speed and technology. everything weather good or bad happens very fast. so do Tibetan freedom will be. don´t think that Red chinese are powerful and we Tibetan are small in number. always be hopeful. Long time ago Martin Luther king junior said that he has a dream and today black man, Obama became one of the most powerful man in the world and dream that Martin Luther King had came true. this can be a fate for Tibetan as well. always think that how can I give my own contribution to the cause. we are Tibetan and we have this opportunity to do something for our cause, which many people don´t have. we have reason to live and reason to die. but no matter what never ever leave the path of non-violence. means are equally important as goal. we can and we will free Tibet one day,,,,, one day. and that day will be sooon. freedom for all

November 17th, 2009

The Essence of America is freedom and liberty.

We must not let anything deter us from fighting for freedom for all beings on planet earth.

Remember the Founding Fathers and Mothers of America who risked their lives for our freedom.

How can we forget our history and the Tibetan people.

As someone who has studied Tibetan Buddhismfor 20 years with a great teacher from Tibet, and as a lawyer trained at Harvard in Boston, I know how important it is for the U.S. to step up now and take action.

Sincerely,

Cheryl Conner
